I'm most excited to see the fastest guy ever play for my favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs!
I also am looking forward to seeing what Wiley and Hicks can do, I think those are probably the rookies that will see a relevant amount of snaps too. [Reply]
I think Hicks is gonna fit ideally in this defense and be a great chess piece for Spags once he learns the system.
Draft picks like this are why the Chiefs are able to keep constantly turning over the DB room without losing a ton of production. it's why we can re-sign McDuffie after 2024 and let Justin Reid walk. Between Cook, Conner and now Hicks, we don't need to be paying money to more than one DB at a time.
And that's a BIG luxury to have in today's NFL.
Hope we keep Merritt and Spags forever and ever . . . . . [Reply]

Personally, I was really hoping that Amarius Mims would fall in the first and we'd get our hands on him, but I do think getting Kingsley at the end of the 2nd round was a steal in itself. Honestly, I think Rounds 2 through 6 Veach got a lot of contributors who have potentially high ceilings. [Reply]

Between Veach and Spags, I have absolutely no doubt that we cant' maintain this mindset and keep an inexpensive secondary. Great point! [Reply]
