Yeah, pls. share the menu of some restaurant choices (local 'to you') that are not really chains, but have great food. Novelty places are a plus - you may wanna post menu links and their physical business signs.
Food topics have always gone over well. I have several in mind, but i'll wait and join up, later.
Anyone remember these in the KC area in the early-mid 90's? Not exactly hole in the wall but these were identical to McD's same food/taste etc....and they were like a dollar (or more) cheaper.
I've got quite a few, but the one that I love and feel should be on that show more than any other is Hugo's in Fayetteville. It's an institution of the city. It's got a pretty simple menu, but their food is just so damned good. It's also in a old speakeasy type basement where you descend into the restaurant from the street.

It's very good as well. Did you go to the one on the square? The brewery side of that building (West Mountain Brewery) has become one of the best townie hangouts in Fayetteville and is part of Tim's. [Reply]
