The Franchise 10:55 AM 03-13-2022
Legal tampering period begins tomorrow, March 14th. Throw all of your rumors and moves in here.

Obviously, for the people who hate mega threads, feel free to create a new thread for larger moves and anything Chiefs.

DANIEL SORENSEN IS NO LONGER ON THIS TEAM!

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Raiders and Patriots have interest in D.J. Chark.

With Amari Cooper traded, Mike Williams re-signed, and Chris Godwin and Davante Adams franchise tagged, the mid-tier free-agency market should again be bustling. Chark broke his ankle in early October but could be a good fit for someone looking for a true outside receiver. The Raiders and Patriots both qualify as teams that are in need, even if Chark hasn't exactly followed up on his 2019 breakout season with a good year.

Since I enjoy some league wide chaos:

I hope the #Chiefs
Trade 30 to Seattle for Lockett and a 4th
Sign Odell Cpatt and McKinnon or Duke Johnson

Then play 5-6 CBs every play to remove expensive Ss from the equation

Score with that

The #Vikings are signing Pro Bowl QB Kirk Cousins to a one-year, $35 million fully guaranteed extension that puts him under contract through 2023, per sources.

Cousins gets a raise to $40 million in 2022, $55 million payable by next March and a no-trade clause.

Not really, there is not any better quarterback available on the market right now so it is the best they have and Cousins had a very good year, Vikings could have done alot worse like keeping Bridgewater who is mediocre

There’s been some talk that the chiefs will largely stand Pat this year making way for a 2023 fa push.

#Chiefs remain in play for JuJu Smith-Schuster - I love Jarvis Landry there too - which has been a consistent rumor of late. Others in the mix as well for JuJu.

This says his cap hit if traded would only be 6.25 this year and 12.95 next year. That's ridiculously cheap for what he can do.

Is Tyler Lockett the next man out?

His 4 yr, $56.3M contract includes a $13M bonus set to be paid between 3/16th-3/20

New Team Caps
(including the $13M bonus)
22: $6.25M
23: $12.95M
24: $18.55M
25: $18.55M

SEA takes on $15.2M of dead cap (a $5.1M loss)https://t.co/6S0saIgbpe

I still don’t think I’m interested for a first.
