Chiefs prez Mark Donovan, when asked this AM about potential new stadium options, said the team has considered options in state of Kansas. They like Arrowhead and legacy of Lamar Hunt’s stadium, but have been pitched by Kansas developers on a bunch of options. Something to watch.

Gardner Chiefs, Stanley Chiefs, Lenexa Chiefs, Shawnee Chiefs, Olathe Chiefs, and Wyandotte Chiefs. The latter three fit real Indian Tribes I suppose. Or was Wyndotte a Chief? [Reply]

I am not an advocate for them moving to Kansas but don't let your dislike of me lead you to say things that are dumb.
1) Speedway opened in 2001, that's before 2002, in case you don't do math.
2)150k more residents in Joco? I bet Jackson has similar growth. But I also don't care enough to look it up.
3) Yeah, the successful soccer stadium is cool. [Reply]
