Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs potentially building new stadium in Kansas
Sassy Squatch 09:45 AM 03-29-2022

Chiefs prez Mark Donovan, when asked this AM about potential new stadium options, said the team has considered options in state of Kansas. They like Arrowhead and legacy of Lamar Hunt’s stadium, but have been pitched by Kansas developers on a bunch of options. Something to watch.

And the answer is simple - we invade Kansas and claim it as West Missouri. Check and mate, Mark Donovan.

You know that ain’t happening. Why should we give one penny to billionaires to build their stadium? Every city caves. KC will cave easier and faster than most.

It would take some of the most unusual circumstances for the Chiefs to leave the state. Jackson County and KCMO are just the sort of lame brains to do it though.
Without a bistate tax where is KCMO going to come up with the money after we spend it on the Royals going downtown?

Has Nascar done well anywhere in the last 10 years? It's watching the same movie over and over and over and over.

I must say they fill up the hotels near me during race week.

Seems like Cerner is selling its Legends campus. That is enough office space for that part of the metro for the next 60 years.

This is the rub: Village West is largely failing. (I am from MO and live in MO but like Kansas just fine).

Cerner bailing, Legends filing for bankruptcy, TBones going tits up, even the race track isn’t selling like it was. THIS is a “hot spot”?
