Don't mind fish, he's a climate change alarmist. I think that says plenty. [Reply]
Blue Origin's upcoming all-female spaceflight to launch Monday.
Pretty shocking list of woman on the flight. But I guess woman are primarily responsible for Bezos success with Amazon.
Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin NS-31 mission is set to be the first all-female spaceflight since 1963, when the Soviet Union’s Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in space during a three-day solo mission. The crew will launch from West Texas and includes aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn, activist Amanda Nguyễn, CBS Mornings host Gayle King, pop singer Katy Perry, and former TV host and Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sánchez. The :-) is that there have been a dozen of these launches, none of them more than an amusement ride, but this is the only one that's drawn derision from CP for some unidentifiable reason. [Reply]

DEI is beyond out of control.
My local bank recently let all the men go and now it is all woman. I went in to make a deposit today and there were five of us in line for the only teller station open but there were plenty of woman at their desks on their computers.
Yeah, I am a boomer and believe in customer service. [Reply]

New Glenn is a legitimately capable launch system. Its test flight went great. It'll just take time for them to build up a launch manifest that's as newsworthy as a bunch of celebs. [Reply]
Does anybody know if on any previous hops if they go out of their way to be sexist and point-out it was an all-male crew and act like probably X'ing out some deserving male was, somehow, a leap forward for women? [Reply]

Cool, let's hope they save people from the ISS some time soon. [Reply]

They call the all male flights "90% of spaceflight history". [Reply]

Limiting the flight crew(or bank employees) to a single gender is the opposite of DEI though. I feel like the term "DEI" is being misused way too much these days. [Reply]
