I feel like guys who were The Man in high school sometimes have a hard time transitioning to the catch and shoot percentages they need.
I may be remembering incorrectly, but I thought Frankamp was the one who did nothing BUT stand around the outside hoping someone would pass him the ball. [Reply]
Grimes just wanted the ball more, wasn't willing to wait for that to happen at KU (he didn't deserve the ball more based on his weak play as a freshman), and bolted to another program the first chance he got. Looks like it worked out for him though. [Reply]

Frankamp averaged a ridiculous amount of points in high school. I think he was grumpy that he wasn't running the show and considering what a gigantic jackoff his dad was it didn't surprise me. [Reply]

Rumor always was that he was really frustrated with his lack of playing time when that other point guard in his class (who ESPN gave a grade of 79) completely surpassed him.
What ever happened to that other no name low recruit point guard anyway? [Reply]

One was player of the year and went to the NBA, the other is still kicking cow turds in Wichita and still clinging to his last remaining hairs on his head.

Maybe he needs to play in an open offense like Slimy Cal runs at Kentucky, because I don't really remember a single minute where he was on the court and looked like he knew what he was supposed to be doing. [Reply]
I've seen this guy post a lot of stuff about KU. Is he legit? If so, then it looks like Self is back to work. That's a great sign for the program. I have been wondering why we haven't heard anything on his health situation. [Reply]
