Trey Smith is the only one that has been able to block Jones so far. An early favorite for Defensive Player of the Year- the way he is tearing it up.

What's more impressive is how you are saying that in spite of the fact he is looking like a DPOY guy, Smith, a rookie guard, is able to block him. That is a very, very good sign for this team.

Yes, but Jones was already a Pro Bowler. Smith is a rookie 6th round guard.

Early in the year, the DL always has an advantage over OL. OL is reactionary. Wait a couple of weeks as the OL improves conditioning, gets into game form, and starts recognizing what the DL is doing. This happens every year.
