At the end of regulation, Mahomes had 1 more possession than Allen yet Allen still had a more yards, more TD’s, a better QB rating and a higher completion percentage.

Bills coaches just really went full-reerun at the end of the game with that horrible coverage.
You know what else Allen had over Mahomes in that game?

Well, his punter did. Not Allen.

But yeah, Mahomes had 11 possessions and scored 42. Allen had 9 possessions and scored 36.

Allen actually scored more per possession than Mahomes.

I guess if you include the missed field goal then it basically evens out.

Mahomes was facing the #1 defense in the league, and Allen was facing a secondary of mongoloids.

Are you brain dead? Allen let himself get sacked twice on third down...one of those sacks he threw two awful passes before third down...

Two other punts, his coach didn't trust him enough to pick up the first down...great job!

He had his chances to score, better luck next time.

I thought Buffalo’s defense was only #1 because they faced all trash offenses? If so, then we can’t really say the defense is all that great.

Mahomes was awesome, but I would give the edge to Allen as far as who played the better game.

A coin toss decided it.

You’re right, he did.

But again, it’s all about points. Not sacks or punts or anything else.

Allen actually scored more per possession than Mahomes.

If Allen scores on those four possessions the Bills win the game doofus.

Yeah I guess if Allen made his points per possession against Mahomes an ever GREATER deficit, then he could have won in regulation.

But as it is, Allen still went into OT with more yards, more TD’s, more points per drive, and a greater QB rating.

Mahomes was awesome. But I give the edge to Allen as slightly better in that one game.

Another way to look at it is - What is the score if the QB’s changed teams?

I think it’s the exact same. Whoever gets the ball first in OT wins.

Allen and Mahomes are basically equal at this point.

The defense let them score so Mahomes had time. :dusts chalk off hands:

Revisionist history. Before the game, "Bills Mafia" and most of the national media were licking the Bills defense's collective taint.

The Chiefs led almost the entire game, despite their amateur hour pass defense.

You wish. We've heard the same thing about every other young QB who shows even a little promise. None of them are even close.

I hear ya. And that must be frustrating to hear over and over again.

But Allen hasn’t just shown a little promise. That’s Burrow and Herbert.

Allen has beaten Mahomes and was a coin flip away from beating him again. He also had more yards, more TD’s, more points per possession, etc against Mahomes on Sunday after regulation.

This isn’t a flash in the pan. Allen is the real deal.

A coin flip decided who won.
