Gotta love all the futile dot connecting going on by dumbasses like KnowMo.
Let's just assume for a second that this silly premise is true - that they hired a coach to lure a QB away in a trade.
Who makes decisions like that? If it doesn't work, you've hired a dud for an irrelevant reason. And if it DOES work, you've hired a foot shuffling porter that everybody knows is only there to appease the prima donna.
This is the most hilarious shit I've ever read about the Broncos on here and with a decade plus of KnowMo posting here, that says a lot. [Reply]

Yea, it’s pretty amazing that people think you hire a HC to attract a 39 year old QB that just choked for the millionth time in the playoffs.
If that’s really what’s going on here, it is beyond desperate and pathetic. [Reply]
Aaron Nagler is one of the best Packers guys out there and he was just on Sirius radio talking about Rodgers.
He made a good point that Aaron seems to play the game “for fun” instead of loving the game like he used to and that’s why they’ve struggled when it matters. He actually said he wouldn’t be surprised to see them trade Rodgers to get a bunch of picks for future use.
You’re gonna have to look at replacing him in a couple years anyway. Why not start now and get a ton of leverage?

He’s been that much of a problem for GB.
He’s a drama queen. Same statement was true with Favre as well. I would think Green Bay is tired of the bullshit, especially after two straight mega chokejobs in “MVP” seasons. [Reply]

Which really begs 2 questions here: Did Hackett really call the plays in GB ? I have a hard time believing with Lafleur and Rodgers somewhat rocky relationship both being stubborn that Hackett would have any kind of influence in the play calling department. The 2nd question would be did Rodgers like and respect Hackett and what he brought to the table ?? [Reply]
That's dumb. Are we really just going to act like we don't know why Denver hired Hackett? I actually think he's a pretty good hire when compared to some of the other "talent" that's been hired recently, but this is obviously about something, or better stated, someone else. [Reply]
