He is now, but the adoration at the start was every bit justified. He legitimately looked like he might become one of the best WRs of all-time.

His rookie year he went for 1,300 yards and 12 TDs in only 12 games. Then followed that up with an average of 1,400 yards and 12 TDs over the next two seasons.

The man was incredible.
