Minnesota was a bit of a pipe dream. Their new guy had no connection whatsoever to EB. That's not always necessary to a job, but at this point I have no idea what else is going to get Bieniemy hired. He's not going to wow anybody just by interviewing again and again.
I thought for sure they'd at least ask to interview him given how many years he was with that organization, but Spielman got tossed out along with Zimmer, so his connections are kind of gone from that team.
It just blows and kind of sucks. Feel bad for EB, too, because I think he knows he could do better than half of these chucklefuck Joe Judges and Brandon Staleys who get jobs [Reply]
The rest of the NFL… and he’s interviewed with like 70% of the league… sees EB for what he is… a glorified offensive quality control coach to Andy Reid who does nothing more than provide administrative-type support.
