2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Why pay a guy that much money when you know he sucks to begin with? Just find some shithead to eat innings at 10 era. What difference does it make [Reply]
Key takeaways - Chapman can veto up until June 15, so don't look for him to be dealt before then. Also the Royals are willing to package other players as well.
Sounds like they are open for business which is a good thing. [Reply]
Gavin Cross just fell out of Baseball America’s top 100.
Kansas City has had three consecutive top-nine picks. None are top 100 prospects. None have made it past Double-A. We can only hope that they have some self-awareness to make improvements to their player development. https://t.co/vRcqN44wHP
Baseball America had KC ranked 29th in its preseason farm system rankings. The MLB team is on its way to lose 100. This organization is in a bad, bad, bad shape.
This team is so far away...I know there are a few accounts out there claiming the Royals are close but the truth is they are further away now than they were when last season ended. [Reply]

Outside about a 3-4 year stretch over the last 25 years The R's continue to be one of the worst Franchises in Baseball. When they are bad, they are just shit stained bad. [Reply]

At this point you have to question if Sherman even cares, they fired Moore and basically kept everyone else other than the manager and pitching coach...
You can't get these results and think that scouting and development is fine. [Reply]

Really depends just how much Sherman believes Moore was meddling in everything. Picollo has to be on a short rope, but this upcoming draft will really be his first without interference from Dayton Moore. It will be interesting to see how the draft might differ from years past.
Other than that, it's time to trade away anything of value. in other words, free Salvy from this dumpster fire if any team offers anything worthwhile. This organization is not going to be ready to compete before he is run down. He deserves better and a chance at the playoffs... [Reply]
