Which really begs 2 questions here: Did Hackett really call the plays in GB ? I have a hard time believing with Lafleur and Rodgers somewhat rocky relationship both being stubborn that Hackett would have any kind of influence in the play calling department. The 2nd question would be did Rodgers like and respect Hackett and what he brought to the table ??

This question has been answered repeatedly with Rodgers's own words. Yes, he thinks a lot of him. I believe there is a quote even in this thread.

The AFCW opponents need to be bringing in defensive minded coaching to have any shot at keeping up with the Grim Reaper. Then find a top notch OC. Or not. I guess it really doesn't matter what they do. I hope Rodgers wobbles over with him. We need a little competition.

:-) How did that work out for the Chargers and Broncos?

Well, at least they've learned that defensive head coaches are not the way to go in THIS NFL.

Look at your final four. Look at your final four offenses. Three of the four have elite or near elite QB's.

The game has changed.

If you're hiring a gritty defensive coach you're making a bad decision in this NFL.

Imagine the State Farm commercials if Rodgers goes to Denver.

I really don’t want to deal with Rodgers and Adams in the AFCW.

This idea that the Broncos are going to get Rodgers AND Adams is hilarious.

0% chance that happens.

Dude, there is zero chance they get both. Zero.

There isn't even really a chance they get Rodgers by himself.

This is all stupid pipe dream crap.

Correct. GB isn't giving either player away without a haul in return. Rodgers is under contract, so a team has to trade for him. Adams can be tagged and traded if GB decides to tear it all down. Both will command a couple 1's at a minimum. Virtually impossible to land both unless you have 5 first rounders in the next 2-3 years

I would be massively underwhelmed if I was a Denver fan.

Kind of a curious hire considering the Falcons offensive has gotten progressively worse since Shanahan left after the 2016 season. They were #1 in points per game in 2016 and were 26th this year.

Rodgers is a choke artist and a drama queen. Combine that with what Denver would have to give up to get him, and it would be wash for the Broncos, at best.
