Chiefs and Chargers have early draft picks and didn’t give up a ton for external players.

It’s really just the Chargers that are a huge threat to the Chiefs this year.

Broncos will have to draft incredibly well with later picks to have any chance

In 2022 we traded our 1 for Russell Wilson. We still have a 2, two 3's, two 4's, a 5, 6, and a 7. We're good.

There is nobody in this draft who would've had a bigger impact on Denver than Russ. For the Chiefs, however, there isn't a single player in this draft that will make up for the loss of Tyreek Hill, especially in the 20's.

(I actually think trading Hill was the right decision. Paying a WR that much is crazy when so many good ones are available every year. Let's Reach got as much as he could, and while he'll never be able to replace Hill, it was still the right choice to trade him.)

I dunno about Pat... his brother? Probably.

Reek was drafted in the 5th round. You're suggesting there aren't players in the FIRST ROUND that might be able to help replace him?

As usual you're looking at things wrong. Sure no one player can replace what Tyreek Hill did for the Chiefs. But consider the sum of all the pics. IF they hit on a couple of those, then you can get several really good players that can actually do more over the Long haul then one person, who is approaching 30. Get it?
Meanwhile, you guys traded a LOT for a short QB approaching his mid 30's whose skills look to be declining. No big deal, because if it doesn't work out you'll just bail in October as usual. :-)

And a 2, and gee, there's the 2023 picks too? :-)

Help replace him, sure. But good luck finding someone just as impactful as Hill.

Yeah, but we still have a 2. RunKC was talking about how we'll struggle to compete with the Chiefs this year because we don't have any draft picks. But we do. Plenty. With virtually zero glaring holes on the roster.

The Broncos don’t have Von Miller on their team anymore either and won’t replace him with a bust draft pick who had zero sacks and a FA who has 16 career sacks in 5 years.

The Broncos RT is Billy Turner. He isn’t good. Ask GB how good he is :-)

Nobody is afraid of Albert O. Nobody. Pass rush is pretty average at this point on paper, your corners aside from Surtain are Darby who is old and always hurt plus just had his worst year last season and your LB’s are slow.

Not to mention Fangio is a huge loss. He’s an elite defensive coach who you think a 1st year DC will somehow replicate. That’s like saying a first rd WR will replicate Tyreek.

There are plenty of holes on your roster Knowmo. You just have blinders on.

And Paton’s “great draft” last year had some decent contributing players after the first 2 rds. Caden Sterns, Baron Browning and Quinn Meinerz isn’t gonna put you over the KC has 3 top 50 picks to go with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes

I don't think that's an apples to apples comparison really.

Mahomes and Albert Wilson tore a much better Donkey D to shreds in his first game.

We didn't really have Von Miller on the team last year. Chubb either. Both only played 7 games for us and we still had a top 5 scoring defense.

It's a big if, but if they stay healthy we'll be in much better shape with Gregory and Chubb in 2022 than we were with Von and Chubb in 2021.

He's just a guy, but he's not a liability. He was RT for Green Bay for a handful of years and Rodgers won back to back MVPs. If Billy Turner is the worst player on your OL, you're alright.

He's a big and tall athlete who runs a 4.4 at 250 pounds. I hope they overlook him. We're not going to be running our offense through him anyways. He should "get his" simply because teams are worried about everyone else. Albert O can thrive in that role.

Darby is a good #2. Other than Baltimore and Miami I don't think there is a better duo at CB in the league than PS2 and Darby. K'Waun Williams has been one of the better nicklebacks in the league for a few years now.

Fangio is a significant loss. He dealt with a ton of injuries on his defense the past few years and still managed to field good defenses. BUT Ejiro has been around Fangio in the past and that scheme has worked in other places without Fangio. Having a veteran coach like Dom Capers around should help him in his first year calling plays.

The only advantage KC had over Denver last year was their QB. We gave you guys fits with Teddy and Drew. What do you think is going to happen now that we have an actual "dude" at QB?

Denver is going to be nasty offensively. Nobody has four corners on their roster who can matchup with Jeudy, Sutton, Patrick and Hamler. We will have multiple matchups in our favor every single play, and if the passing game isn't working Denver can pummel you with Javonte Williams.

How about the Chiefs didn't bother to give a 100% effort when they played the donk show which in turn kept the game competitive?
You have an actual dude who is the 3rd best QB in the division. Major congratulations for overtaking the faiders for 3rd place in the division.
