Doubtful. You'll need that DH spot for any combo of Salvy and Santana (assuming neither are traded and assuming either Pratto or Rivero are slated to be on the MLB roster). [Reply]

Plus at some point it's looking very possible that Melendez and Salvy will be splitting time with Salvy spending half the games at DH.

No.
Soler is most definitely gone after this year. He’s a DH only which the Royals don’t value. No way do they sign him to a long term deal.
