We’ve explained in this thread (multiple times) that if you’re down 25%+ on positions it’s because you ignored risk management strategies. Stocks, especially growth stocks are volatile. They don’t move in linear patterns.

Yes and no.

On larger pullbacks I’ll only add to long positions on companies with good fundamentals. On larger pullbacks like this I don’t initiate short term positions. There’s too much risk and short term trading should only follow market momentum.

Has everybody given up on AMC? I had sold off most but recently nibbled a little more back into my portfolio. I think I'm at 250 shares. When it goes to 100K/share I'll be OK.

Hell no, with short lend fee hitting at least 89% today, and the steady creep upwards as volume is jumping. Between that and my play for Hertz @ $1.16, I did quite nicely today in spite of the small bloodbath all around.

With AMC, it's not going to implode, and even legitimately it's probably undervalued now that they are ramping back up for Summer blockbuster season.
The risk vs upside seems silly given the price that couldn't be more friendly.

Damn, after watching a few different videos on AMC and checking the stocktwits gang, it seems to be getting real close to doing whatever its gonna do and those idiots are talking 10k to 100k a share. Damn people are dumb.
