2023 Recap
Spoiler!

Thread Overview
This is the 13th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.

Last year, we had a pretty solid showing with 4 hits: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Rashee Rice, Wanye Morris & BJ Thompson. Let's run it back!

For those who are new: the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.

I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of The Draft Network, NFL.com, or their team's website.

Let's meet some of our future Chiefs:

Given Jerick McKinnon and Clyde Edward’s-Helaire are free agents could the Chiefs look for a pass catching back out of the draft? pic.twitter.com/TmNQwkmxRb

Joshua Cephus - WR - has been impressing at the Hula Bowl and has met with the Chiefs.

Bigger target at WR with exceptional hands and catch radius. Showcases good tracking vertically and long strides to get behind defenders. Plus RAC creation to boot.

Oregon State WR Anthony Gould. Who grew up in Kansas and is a KC fan, has met with the Chiefs. Looking at some of his clips the kid is electric and could certainly be considered in later rounds I think.

Oregon State offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga says he met with #Chiefs head coach Andy Reid at the NFL Combine.

Doubt Fuaga will be on the board when the Chiefs pick, but good to hear that Veach & Reid are covering all bases! pic.twitter.com/f2cqtMM03R

The Kansas City Chiefs will host Oregon State WR Anthony Gould on a visit, a source said.

Dynamic pass-catcher ran a 4.39 in Indy and remains one of the drafts most explosive playmakers.

Yea, the last time they drafted a tiny WR on day 3 that went terribly!

I'm really intrigued by the WR class and who the Chiefs are interested in

Anthony Gould - 5'8" 4.39 40 yard dash - a Tyreek prototype?

Seriously Gould looks absolutely electric and for a smaller guy most of the damage he done was on the outside which is why he is so intriguing because he honestly could be a Tyreek type of guy if developed properly.

I like Gould in the slot and as a punt returner, especially if we go with a bigger wr like Coleman in the 2nd. He’s tiny but he’s very fast and could eat up yardage in space. We need guys that can win one and one’s and Gould can do that. Imagine Kelce, rice, Coleman and Gould.
