We didn't restructure Mahomes last year but this year I think we do. Creates a ton of flexibility for us over the next 2 years. Next year we have very few impact FA's (Sneed, Gay, Danna are the only main contributors I think). I'm assuming we work out something with Chris Jones this year to extend but that doesn't change his cap number much tbh. Already making $20mil a year [Reply]
Agree -- but they have consistently NOT wanted to go into the draft with obvious holes so they can take BPA. Currently the roster has 2-3 glaring holes. OT, DT, Edge. So expect moves if history is a guide... [Reply]

They are going to make a move at LT.
This front office has made it clear they aren’t going to play around with Patrick’s protection.
Would like to see a long term solution this off-season as opposed to another stop gap. [Reply]

But will they? I imagine they can replace Wylie relatively easily without breaking the bank. LT is a strong possibility though based off how everything is looking so far. [Reply]
Eric Fisher at RT? I have no idea what he'd get, or even if he'd be interested, but maybe just to have a vet presence anchoring one end of the line at a low price, plus being able to mentor a rookie LT in case we draft Darnell Wright? [Reply]
Wow!! Chiefs save $21 million by cutting Clark. They have all the money to pay Brown but... won't? Veach is going next level GM mode right now. Must love what he's seeing from these T's in the draft... I guess. Man.
