It's dumb fucks like you who don't realize that only really fucking sick people get tested for the flu typically. The VAST majority of flu cases never get tested, even in bad years for the flu. What you see as flu case numbers are ESTIMATES.

So if the vulnerable people who would end up needing a test for the flu are already social distancing because of a fucking pandemic that was killing vulnerable people in DROVES, wouldn't it make sense that flu wouldn't be spreading? Lots of schools were doing remote school further reducing the available population for spread. Millions of people working from home. Then add that a RECORD number of flu vaccines were given during the 2020-21 flu season.
