Sobering numbers. I sincerely hope we don't hit the projected totals.

Just to keep some perspective, 1040 deaths reported so far today with 593 of them from NY and NJ. Hopefully these massive numbers stay isolated to that region. Louisiana is running about 20 deaths fewer today than yesterday right now.

Without making this political, did anyone watch the daily press briefing from the White House?

I've typically been watching them every day, but I don't have the stomach for it anymore.

Anything of importance said? Any possible good news?

I watched some of it, a lot of it was about the military, the border and Iran.

Yeah, there's educated guesswork involved, but hell... 3.3 million at 2% would be 1.65 million at 1% or 825,000 at .5%.

Is 825,000 deaths within a year okay?
Is it OK? No, but if deaths are inevitable and in his scenario he stated 70% of the population could be infected, what the fuck are we doing? Sitting at home, killing the economy, and making millions more suffer for years to save a few? Seems stupid.

Up by 3 for Mo and Ks reported 1 yesterday as well so no change. We could make it sound super sensationalized and say Mo saw a 300% increase!
