Yeah, I'm not too keen on a 18 game schedule, even if players only play up to 16 games. As a fan, if Mahomes isn't playing that date (coach discretion or already allotted his 16 game), then what is the fucking point?

This proposal is pretty stupid and it seem to have to cost the owners more money as they would almost have to increase roster size. Even without rotating an entire position group out for a game the depth would be crippled at current sizes.

I think that's part of the concept; they would add roster spots to accommodate the (in my opinion really weird and unnecessary) idea that you can only start your starters 16 out of the 18 game schedule...

One thing is that when you rest Mahomes you have to take that same opportunity to rest you're starting OL. Otherwise there's going to be a game where Pat plays with the 2nd string OL and we dont want that. [Reply]
