To me, it looked like that stick was jammed between the goalie's legs; to get to the other side of the crease he would've to either backup and go, or he would've had to lift his leg over the stick. Either way, the stick was basically a hurdle the goalie had to get around/over to get to the other side.

Well dang I forgot this was on tonight. Seen on Sportscenter. I'm no expert in ice hockey by any stretch. That said a stick between the goalies legs in the crease holding him from shifting over to the open side of the goal? To me that seems like interference. They may have scored anyway but looks kinda bad. [Reply]

Yeah, watching the replays, the goalie didn't react like it was holding him up at all... it looked closer to a spear, then his stick didn't really seem to be in the way long enough to matter. [Reply]
