.. how...

.... how does anyone read that and NOT think there's a blatant leftist bias in the newsmedia?

Humans are rationalizing creatures. Before a decision is made, they can be swayed. Once they've come to a conclusion, changing their minds becomes very difficult.

Here, check this out.

Comey asserted during the interview that President Donald Trump targets private citizens with investigations and the power of the executive, citing Trump “calling for the locking up of his political opponents, including people like me.”

Amanpour seized on Comey’s use of the phrase “locking up,” and wondered if the FBI should censor the use of “lock her up” in reference to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Of course, ‘lock her up’ was a feature of the 2016 Trump campaign,” Amanpour said. “Do you in retrospect wish that people like yourself, the FBI, I mean, the people in charge of law and order, had shut down that language — that it was dangerous potentially, that it could’ve created violence, that it’s kind of hate speech. Should that have been allowed?”

Comey explained the First Amendment to Amanpour, replying, “That’s not the role for government to play. The beauty of this country is people can say what they want, even if it’s misleading and it’s demagoguery.”

Now "lock her up" is obviously not hate speech. But Amanpour is so invested in the left that she actually thought that whether or not the FBI should be censoring that statement was a legitimate question to ask Comey. The notion that she's a ridiculously biased person who has no business being in the journalism business probably never crosses her mind.

Speaking of twisted and evil, I give you the U.K. government's next censorship move:

Censorship in the name of safety, and the sheep in the U.K. will probably take it with little more than a whimper, just as they're taking the Brexit betrayal.

Not bias, but intrusion. Amazon is listening to you, and so are Amazon's employees.

Here's the Daily Beast manipulating a story. First, the basic outlay from another news outlet.

And notice how the Daily Beast tries to frame this.

No mention of Craig being White House counsel under Obama, but a specific mention of Trump via Manafort. The article is obviously meant to be misleading.

And why did they tone it down? Did they read it and immediately realize that they were shit bags who needed to check themselves for letting it get published? No. As the article says
