Nzoner's Game Room>Harrison Butker

I'm not the type to overreact, but Butker is starting to worry me a bit.

He needs to be money in games like this one, and he wasn't.

Butker - Townsend has to be the best kicker/punter duo in Chiefs history, right?

These two are incredible.

In terms of sheer performance, yes. Relative to their time, Jan Stenerud and Jerrell Wilson were incredible. What most people don't remember, is that in their era, NFL rosters only had 41 players. Special teams weren't nearly as developed as a result.

"good" FG kickers were hitting 65% too :-)

14-14 on field goals and 15-15 on XPs so far this season.

With the exception of one, we have been blessed with great kickers and punters.

I wouldn't trade him for Tucker and a 1st round draft pick. He's our kicker.

He's been f'n nails so far this season. I mean, he's got to be special teams player of the week, right?

I mean seriously. Guy nailed a 61-yarder AND a 52-yarder. Insane.

Hell, I remember when the media were raving about Pete Stoyanovich hitting a 54-yarder to beat Denver in 1997 by calling it "The Kick from Nowhere."

Today, Butker would make that kick and you wouldn't blink.

Clayton, I totally agree kickers then were a joke. But Stenerud was the best of the early soccer-style kickers.

He truly was great. Note: another fun fact, he was actually a patient of my father's.

Can't believe this thread hasn't been updated!
Butker scores 19 points on Sunday and converted six
of six field goals for a perfect evening!

One of the greatest no doubt.

Still makes me sick how quickly everyone turned on him for having a single bad stretch during the season last year… rushing back from an injury

A white-hot star in an oftentimes murky offense.

The guy has been nails all year, with no PAT misses to boot!
