Had season tickets for several years and there were always fights at the Raiders games. Also Arrowhead has a higher population than Lenexa KS with drunk people in attendance so seeing a fight shouldnt be that surprising [Reply]

People get sloppy drunk before these games (I've done it too) and don't sober up when the game is going on. I'm suprised there isn't more car accidents leaving Arrowhead [Reply]
I've seen many fights both inside and outside Arrowhead over the years. The weird thing about this current one was, it was all Chiefs fans fighting with Chiefs fans. Mahomes beating the crap out of Mahomes. If it was Chiefs/Chargers fans mixing it up, it might be more understandable. Worst fights I've seen were in the 70's and 80's vs. Raiders. Those were some ugly brutal ones. This one was bad because of the guy continually being wailed on after he was KOed. That's just plain criminal assault. Thank God you have to pass through a metal detector because you can bet a bunch of these brawlers have a gun in their glovebox. [Reply]
Those were just some I have seen. I’m not sure how many games I’ve been to, but quite a few. It’s not like you see fights every time out but it’s fairly common. I don’t mean a brawl, I mean 2-4 combatants.
There are cameras all over that place now, and they are going to be able to track people on video back to the seat they were in which probably tells you who they are.
And look at the phone cameras. Our whole society voluntarily records each other constantly. You can’t get away with this stuff anymore. [Reply]

A couple of guys annoying each other and one taking a swing at the other one is probably going to happen anytime you get 75,000 people together, but Zach acting like going to Arrowhead is like stepping into the Octagon is just bullshit.
That is awesome and hopes he likes it. I had a great section, 339, and they were pretty tame. Yeah I didn't see many if any brawls, but individual fights happened all the time.
I would say though when the Raiders come to town it is like stepping into the Octagon :-) [Reply]

He loves it. Drives all the way from Hays, KS to work the games. He told me that this particular brawl had been brewing for a large portion of the game and that it was due to Mahomes white jersey talking shit to fans all game and them telling him to sit down. I have no idea if that is true, but that is what he says was told to him.
He did 4 years in the Navy and would still be in if they hadn't found a tumor on his lung during a physical as he was preparing to join his BUDS class to start SEAL training. He definitely doesn't mind mixing it up so I'm sure he's one of those dick security guards that thinks he's a badass. [Reply]

Heh. Someone has to be that dick. Thankless job, but Tell him thank you for me. [Reply]

Hint, they both use the same facial technology when you step on their property.
I'm sure Arrowhead has something like that, as well as most big venues in the US. However, I am still a little skeptical with the ridiculous lack of internet and cellular capabilities for fans currently at Arrowhead. [Reply]

One of my all time favorites was at the 1991 NO Saints @ Arrowhead. Saints had a great and Bobby Herbert at QB. It was a September game. Hot AF. Upper level NO and Chief fan square off on the concourse. Couple of decent punches landed for each guy before the green jacket guys and KCMO PD arrive on the scene.
NO fan puts up a fight and refuses to be cuffed. Cop pulls out mace and gives NO fan the brunt. But, on the concourse the wind swirl like a mother, and the irritant flies right back in the cop’s face. Cop is discombobulated momentarily.
NO fan sees his chance ( to get away) but disdains that for a chance to jump on the blinded cop. Lands a shot and tries to pull weapon. Green Jacket guys get up off of Chief fan and immediately subdue the NO fan as 5 more KCPD cops show up to beat the guy into submission.
Hog tied, one of the late arriving cops give him a shot of mace from about two inches away and they drag him out.
Not the worst one I’ve scene. Not even close. But it was memorable. Last time anybody tried chemical irritant on the concourse.
There was a guy in the section to the right of us who threw a beer can after Edwards-Helaire fumbled the ball. Someone in the lower level got a nice surprise. Him and his woman jetted out of there before security showed up. The entire back half of the section was yelling at him. [Reply]
According to Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forte, several people have been charged with misdemeanor crimes including assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and providing false information to officers.
Officers arrested two men at the game. They have since been released from custody. Warrants were requested for the woman and two men who were also involved in the fight. That includes a fan who went to the hospital to get treatment for a broken jaw. [Reply]
