How about the people who visit their doctor with symptoms? Could we at least test all of them?

We are. Why do you think the number of cases are going up?

What we aren't doing right now is just testing people just to test them. That's a fine line to walk at the moment but one we have to do.

I can tell you now, I work for a health system, I have been on more calls this week to discuss patient, nurse and doctor safety. There are only so many resources to go around. You can't risk the medical professionals getting infected.

When people try going into a doctor's office or ER to get tested even if they aren't showing symptoms they are putting everyone else and including themselves in jeopardy.

New York has now become the host spot. WA state looks like it might start flattening a bit. They are only reporting 2 new cases today.

Off-label means it's not an FDA-approved indication. Almost every medication you can think of has off-label uses. Scope of practice involves the area of specialty. As a PharmD, I do not have to approve, and in many cases should reject, a medication order or Rx from a provider practicing outside of their scope.

You are completely full of SHIT.

ER's are NOT testing people UNLESS they are showing ADVANCED Symptoms.

Doctor's offices ARE NOT testing people that are showing signs of the symptoms because those same symptoms are synonymous with Influzena or even severe rhinovirus in its early stages.

The effort is to keep people employed. If people can return to work instead of looking for a new job it will be a tremendous relief on the economy when things start to loosen up.

I'll take that person's word over yours, pete.
