Nzoner's Game Room>How good are the Chiefs chances at the AFC's #1 seed?

Teams that actually matter in this conversation:

Kansas City (10-4) (vs PIT, at CIN, at DEN)

New England (9-5) (vs BUF, vs JAC, at MIA)

Tennessee (9-5) (vs SF, vs MIA, at HOU)

Baltimore (8-5) (vs GB, at CIN, vs LAR, vs PIT)

Buffalo (8-6) (at NE, vs ATL, vs NYJ)

Indianapolis (8-6) (at ARI, vs LV, at JAC)

LA Chargers (8-6) (at HOU, vs DEN, at LV)

---

Being 1 game back with six games to play seems incredibly generous given our shitty tiebreaker situation. I'll put our odds at 99.9999999%

Pats could easily lose 3 games and I wouldn't bat an eye.

Even if we don't get the bye...do you even fear ANY of these teams? I sure as fuck don't.

Earlier in the season, I predicted the Chiefs would most likely make the playoffs, because it doesn't matter how badly they play, it's still not going to be as bad as most of the league..... never saw this dumpster fire coming though.

8-4 isn't surprising, but being half a game out of the 1 seed certainly is.... we're currently hoping the offense will get their shit together, but didn't expect every other team in the AFC would be hoping the same thing about their own teams..... and maybe the only team that isn't is the fucking Patriots.

Like I’ve said before, Chiefs just need to focus on winning out. The rest will sort itself out.

If we don’t win out, we pretty much have no chance at the 1 seed.

Ravens will lose 2-3 more. Titans will lose at least one more (maybe 2).

Just leaves New England. I think they lose to the Colts. Their run defense is kinda so-so. Indy has arguably been the best rushing team in the league.

:-)

We will revisit this post after the Colts run all over them.

Titans and ravens are for sure losing a game.

The weather in Miami in January will be brutal. It’s possible they could get a cold front come through and it might drop to 69 degrees in January.

Don’t wish that shit on me!! My cut off for comfort is 70. The second it hits 69.9 I’m complaining. I’d rather a year of 95 degree days than one day below 70.

They each already won one Superbowl this year, no need to be greedy.

Umm, two of the four remaining games left for Pats are in a climate controlled stadium (Indy) and at Miami. The ‘weather turning’ won’t be a factor in either of those games.

And Miami seems to have the Pats number in late season games there, so I wouldn’t go counting those chickens just yet . . . . .

He should just move to the midwest. He could have a day above 96 and a day below 32 in the same week.

How good are the Chiefs chances at the AFC's #1 seed????

A lot better than having the OP updating the records info and seeding in the thread.
