Nzoner's Game Room>**** Official 2023-24 NHL Thread ****

Time to reboot for the upcoming season.

Anyone interested in doing a fun (or even low cost $25) Fantasy NHL League?

The way Dillon left the ice made me think it was pretty bad. The tweet you linked is already gone, but I got this still from the broadcast. Huge gash on his hand.

Spoiler!

Islanders live to see another day as they beat the Canes in overtime. Lightning also trying to see another game as they are up 3-0 in the first

Any news on Dillon? That didn’t look good

This is all I've seen. Sounds like maybe not as bad as it looked? I'd still be very surprised if he plays again this series unless it somehow only cut his skin.

Rick Bowness said Brenden Dillon is day-to-day after being cut on his hand at the end of Game 3 of Avalanche-Jets. pic.twitter.com/L4vb61ZJhd

Looks like Dillon is out but is possible for Tuesday. Glad it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Man, that line is buzzing... exactly what they were missing last season.

Yikes, looked like a lot of blood. It seemed like he was moving his hand OK at the very end of that clip though. Hopefully he’ll be OK.

I managed to miss pretty much every game this weekend so I don’t really know what’s going on at this point. Any surprising upsets in the making?

Mittelstadt seems to have finally really settled in and become comfortable. That line of him, Lehky, and Parise has been playing lights out. Lehkonen takes his game to a different level in the playoffs.

And win it in the first minute of overtime. That was crazy

Exit: didn’t mean to give you a thumbs down. Suppose to be thumbs up but for some reason I can’t change it

And I had switched over to the NY/WAS game and missed it. :-)

Epic collapse by Preds. Beyond brutal.

And hitting the inside of the post on an empty net? Nightmare fuel.
