Figured we could get one of these going as well.

Who's some guys we like, would like to see in KC?

Seems like 4 years, $60-68 million may be what it takes to secure Taylor's services.

If I thought he could make a transition to LT, I'd pretty strongly consider it. I think there's more talent there than he's had an opportunity to showcase to this point in his career.

New story. Just after Super Bowl LVII, Chris Jones shared his biggest wish for the Chiefs’ offseason.

"keep Frank Clark, keep me & him together..."

On the several paths Brett Veach can take to retain the Chiefs' pass-rushing duo.https://t.co/eNJTMYnAer

Oh I know, I'm just saying, no way I'd give them a 2nd, or probably even a 3rd.

I'm sorry, but anyone who wouldn't spend a 3rd on DHop under his current deal is smoking crack.

You seem oddly defensive over this. Relax dude. I don't even think "under his current deal" is an option. Obviously, that would change things a bit.

Chris wants to keep Frank around? Sure. Start by cutting Frank's base pay until you get his cap hit in the $14-16 million range and extend Jones to lower his cap hit this year.

HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE DHOP????

(Just kidding)

I've always said under his current deal only.

You willing to subsidize it, Chris?

I know he's your buddy and all, but the pie is only so big and the more of that you want, the less of that he can have.

Because we still have an OL and WR corps to figure out. Oh, and an actual long-term plan at DE wouldn't hurt given that Clark's simply an aging player at this point in his career.

So what's the going rate for Davenport gonna be?

Iiiiiiiiinteresting...
Taylor in FA would give you a pathway to moving on from Orlando Brown on the other side.

Much easier to stomach the idea of a rookie at LT if you have a proven, above-average vet at the other spot.
