Always liked this guy, Col. Douglas Macgregor. Here he calls DC "Occupied Territory" which is controlled by the donor class; which Nader called corporate controlled. It's no wonder no one in there listens to or heeds what Americans want. There's a reason reason why most no longer feel represented in DC.

He says Trump was never even a position to do what Milley claimed with nukes, unilaterally. If a president were to use a nuke he has a whole team he has to consult with—first.

Tucker points out, it's ridiculous lie on its face alone since Trump was the first President since Carter to not start a war.

Look who's defending Milley. (His last name is a girly name. :-))
Holy Cow, this can't be good if it's coming from Bolton. Bolton is not popular.

Just saw an episode of Bannon's War Room talking to Navarro where Guiliani claims Milley was afraid of going to jail if Trump was re-elected.

Bannon said Trump spoke moderately to the Chinese and never told China he was going to attack and never planned to do that either. Guiliani said Trump raised issues based in 20 reports regarding Wuhan but did not discuss military retaliation.

Guiliani says it's more conspiracy to commit treason because we were not a war with China, though he said they are an enemy. He said Milley was hoping what he did would not come out and feared Trump winning for that reason.

It's not just Milley and they don't suffer from any repercussions but get rewarded later.

Top US Generals Blatantly Lied About Afghanistan and Iraq Wars To Advance Their Careers
U.S. military lies unnecessarily dragged on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq

According to the Pentagon’s annual reports on military justice, there have been more than 1.3 million cases of discipline in the US military since 2001, mostly relating to the so-called "War on Terror." But as The Intercept highlighted, the generals who misled Congress and the American public about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have not only avoided repercussions after conducting a disinformation campaign for 20 years, but were instead rewarded for their deceivingly positive assessments. "When they retired with generous military pensions, they landed high-paying jobs on corporate boards, further profiting from their disingenuousness," Peter Maass wrote in The Intercept.

They reported things were going well even when they were not. From the impeccable antiwar.com site who has turned out to be correct about all the wars post 2001 and even in the 90's even before they happened.

What is your timeline for your story?

I thought Milley's actions in January 2021 are at issue.

What was Trump aiming to win in January 2021 that Milley could possibly have been worrying about?

We are not relying on the credibility of Woodward's assessments and characterizations. We are responding to factual allegations.

The veracity of those factual allegations will be vetted strenuously. If those allegations prove unfounded, Woodward burned his career to the ground.

In simple terms, I might hate Elway with all my heart and trust him for next to nothing, but if he said 'dude, I just went by your house and it's on fire,' I'd rush home to check it out.
