Welp, it looks like Hardman is definitely not coming back. He apparently was on some podcast saying how Andy never used him right and he wanted to go somewhere that would get him more targets. Now, I don't know what his tone was, whether he sounded mad about it, or if he just was matter-of-fact, but it doesn't read like he's very interested in remaining in KC.
So, now what? Draft/acquire another Hill/Hardman type? What are our options in FA? I don't recognize too many of these names at this point. [Reply]

It's much deeper at EDGE than at DT and there aren't a ton of quality NT types in that group. There are a lot more 3/5T guys and a lot of projects. [Reply]

I don't trust picking up Seahawks offloads again, they seem to know when a guy is cooked/on the slide...but at a decent cost he'd be a good pick up I reckon. [Reply]

He's 35 and I believe got popped for PEDS 4 games last year [Reply]
I don't think the Chiefs are likely to be terribly interested in him, but Woods is actually a pretty damn good player who hasn't seen much of a decline at all in the last several years.
He'd be a nice fit alongside Jones as a true 0-Tech.
If he's still around in a couple months and looking for that veteran minimum sort of deal, I could see us bringing him in. I just don't think we'll look to make an aggressive offer for a 35 yr old. [Reply]
