Your entire offense is composed of play makers.

BB will probably shutdown Kelce, but Hill is the guy I'm worried about - he's way to quick for the Pats, so it will be interesting to see what BB does.

You're right, I'd feel better about playing in Foxboro (still wouldn't feel great). I can see the Patriots winning, but they'd have to play their best game of the season and need a couple breaks (no, not from the refs) - tipped balls, special teams, etc..

It will be fun.
Watkins being healthy is big, too. I don't see how any defense can slow down this offense with Hill, Kelce, AND Watkins at full strength. And I feel pretty good about the pass rush getting to Brady and the DBs not having to worry about Gordon over the top... but it's hard to feel TOO confident given the Patriots track record and mystique!

Also... EAT SHIRT!!!!!!!

The key for the Chiefs is the same this week as it is every week:

Take an early lead and don’t let the opponent dictate the pace of the game. Make the Patriots play from behind and make them attempt to stretch the field vertically. Let’s see how Brady’s arm holds up in that environment and dealing with the Chiefs pass rush.

My only worry is that Mahomes comes out a little too anxious like he did in New England earlier this year. If he comes out composed like he did against the Colts, I’ll feel really good about our chances.

The Chiefs put up 27 against the Ravens without Watkins. That’s as close as anyone has come to “slowing down” the Chiefs.

Cheatriots won't be getting off with a 0 penalty game at Arrowhead either. Most one sided officiating ive ever seen in a football game in the first meeting.

The chiefs could play as bad defensively as san diego played today and still win the game easily because Pat can scramble around. Pats have no passing offense other than small ball 5 yd passes to backs and Edelman over the middle. Gronk is effectively done. They don't have anyone that can win down the field. All they can do is run the ball. Just don't do what san diego did and play zone. Play 8 men up in the box with man coverage and force Brady to go down the field to slapdicks like Hogan.

Defensively, there's nothing they can do against Mahomes because, unlike past years, they can't stop the run out of cover 2. Belichik will most likely put Jackson on Hill with safety help and put Gilmore on Watkins. That leaves Kelce on a safety and that's easy money. If Belichik wants to play cover 2 run the ball.

I think he's over the jitters, if he was gonna have them the Colts game would have been a time for them to show up.

In the first game they were allowed to physically manhandle and maul Kelce, they'll try that again.

Obviously we had some things go for us, too, but I'm trying to think of all the things that went against us in that regular season game. What can we add to:

- In Foxboro
- No Houston, no Berry
- 0 penalties against the Pats :-)
- Lost turnover battle
- Parker, Scandrick were still starting and killing us

I'm just curious. I know most of it doesn't matter. Where the game is being played is by a million miles the biggest factor.

The Chiefs also have practically a 2 day rest/prep advantage in this one. They played a day later and have a travel day in there too. I wouldn’t discount that either.

As far as things that went against us, don’t forget:

-Mahomes came out jumpy and missed a minimum of 2 open TD passes
-Because we played from behind as a result of my previous point, Mahomes forced the ball and threw 2 very uncharacteristic picks. 1 took definite points away from us and the other was deep in our own territory, which gave them points.
