This play in particular was absolutely remarkable, not just for the athleticism, skill, and vision it took but also the awareness he had that he was right at the line of scrimmage.
He has uncanny awareness with the line of scrimmage in these situations. Maybe it’s the alleged photographic memory. He makes a mental note before the play, gotta release the ball before this yard line no matter what. Saw some funny comments from people on YouTube that it seems like Mahomes can see the yardage graphic from the TV broadcast and he knows exactly how far to go before releasing the ball. Lol [Reply]
Tough one against a GREAT team. Plenty to work on but we’ve got each other in the locker room, and we’ll get it right. Time for a little @tb12sports on this shoulder and a few hours of film to figure out how Pat flicked that TD pass. pic.twitter.com/hsM5lqolFy
And not to be the Debbie downer here, but... definitely could have been a flag for illegal man downfield. There was a o lineman at least two yards in the end zone when the ball was thrown. [Reply]

Too close to call. The buffer for linemen is 1 yard and the LOS was just outside the one. [Reply]
