The house wins big on slots and table games. I don't know that they make a bundle on their sports book. The straight up spread is based on the number of people on either side of the bet. Things like parlays and props might be different.

People have often gotten mad at me for mentioning this but poker sometimes CAN help mitigate this. Its slower. You can actually get better at it. There are some guys/gals that play cards and it helps them not hit the pits AS MUCH.

Yep. The amt of people who tell me they can beat sports betting is astounding. Perhaps you can get by doing sports betting arbitrage until they catch you but beating sportsbetting has to be 2thousand times harder than beating poker.

Jeopardy James would completely disagree. He's the guy who changed the way contestants play on the game show.

He's a professional gambler and only bets on sports. Analysis is key and you're never dealt a bunch of crappy hands.

Here is what I can tell you.

About three to four times as many poker players on sportsbook/poker sites are winners compared to sportsbettors of similar adjusted volume and duration, in percentage.
