Nzoner's Game Room>Credit where it’s due to the defene

Washington’s offense isn’t great, but it isn’t terrible either. Without their best player, this defense played a great game. Need to get Jones back and hopefully figure out the right role for him whether that’s moving him back inside full time or what.

I thought Nick Bolton had his best game yet.

Mike Danna and Rashad Fenton deserve mention too.

He missed one practice (Friday) and Rivera said it was purely precautionary.

He wasn’t any more banged up than most of the guys playing that game.

Great game from him. People were ready to write him off after the first few weeks. No patience with young talent whatsoever.
Really, really stupid people.

I think WFT is a decent team; not great, not bad. Clear strength is their D-line. Heineke isn't great, but I'd rank him above Jalen Hurts.

The second half was an asswhooping in which all phases showed up. Offense was dominant, defense was very good, and even the special teams had some big plays.

The Eagles are a similar team, speaking of Hurts; WFT is better up front defensively and Heineke is probably a better QB. So I would say that this looks like improvement to me. They're getting better.

Yup no worse than Hill coming into the game or Kelce during the game.

Washington's issues haven't been on offense.

Or Bolton and Mathieu.

If you are going to add a foot note for every minor injury that’s just dumb.

And I’d argue all of those guys were noticeably more banged up. I never saw McLaurin and thought he looked like he was hurting or struggling.

Not sure how many people were writing him off as opposed to just saying he hasn't been playing anywhere near as well as his rookie year, which he hasn't been.

Honestly most impressed by Fenton. I think he needs more snaps. Another late round steal.

Hmm, that's right. Idk what I was thinking. I could have sworn I heard he was on the report earlier in the week but it seems I remembered wrong.

Injuring your hammy two days before a game still technically counts as banged up, though.

Shit, he’s been good most of his career any time he has been needed.

AEddie must be drunk again.

When Hitchens went out, Neiman was his replacement.

Sorenson is fine as a nickel LBer, just not a safety

Ben Niemann single-handedly escorted the Washington Fightin' Footballs halfway down the field for their only touchdown.

Get him off the fucking field yesterday.

Sorry. Disagree.

Washington is lower tier team.

They dropped tons of balls and bad throws. We got little pressure and still looked slow and bad mental errors..

A win is a win. Hopefully we get healthier. But our play today gets us booted against playoff teams.

-They made moves off-the-field beforehand. Benching Sorenson was huge. Unfortunately Hitchens looked like his injury was serious so we'll be seeing a lot of Neimann with *checks notes* Derrick Henry next on the schedule.

-The end result. All the cards on the table, they only allowed 13 points and not a ton of yards.

The bad:

-WFT's offense isn't good and their best player was banged up so this game doesn't tell us much going forward.

-Pass rush is still a Grand Canyon-sized issue. Guys were open downfield. If our opponent was Buffalo, LAC, Buccaneers, etc. we would have lost big again (due in large part to the offense as well)
Fuck the Chargers. They looked like absolute dogshit today.
