He's leaving that program in shambles. Manny Diaz already left, they've had a ton of decommits, and now they're probably going to lose most of their defensive talent via early entry/graduation. Not to mention the kids that just signed their LOIs early that now get stuck there.

I guess it's not surprising that a college football coach that was an avowed Christian turned out to be more of a college football coach in the end.

JFC, hell no.

Per source, couple prominent former UM players pushing behind scenes for former Jets coach Rex Ryan to replace Richt. Ryan is believed to have interest, if he's contacted officially. So one of bunch of names to keep in mind.

If Miami hires Mark Stoops, Kentucky football is cursed.

Welp that didn’t take long. Hopefully he brings in a top flight OC.

Breaking: Temple coach Manny Diaz will be taking over at Miami after Mark Richt's sudden retirement, the AP first reported and ESPN sources confirmed.

Diaz was defensive coordinator for Miami before taking the Temple job two weeks ago. pic.twitter.com/t4bOTlPMq3

His OC hire will make or break everything. :-) that Richt cost Miami millions because he was an indecisive prick.

Sources confirm to @HoustonRivals that Dana Holgorsen has agreed to accept the Head Coaching position at Houston. I'm told they are waiting for time to pass when Holgorsen's buyout drops to $1M.

Miami is his dream job and he had no idea Mark Richt would be retiring and the job would available when he was hired at Temple a few weeks ago.
