The Chiefs now have 2 safeties that can play inside in Mathieu and Johnson, so this allows the Chiefs to take another guy on the outside to compete with Baker, Keyes, and Fenton.
This guy really impressed me in 1 on 1s at the Senior Bowl. I think he can be your starter on the outside in 2022 across from Sneed.

The Falcons just hit back to back home runs. Can't believe you got both of those at the end of the 5th. I think Sample goes late 3rd or early 4th. I'm less confident on where Rice goes, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's a 3rd or 4th either. [Reply]
Yea I was really tempted to take Sample, but I think the Chiefs have enough interior pass rushers. They need a true edge rusher. Just hasn’t quite worked out, but I think this draft would set them up to pick up a FA like Ingram or Clowney and then draft one in the 1st in 2022. [Reply]

Prepping for the eventual loss of Julio Jones and to keep options open in contract negotiations, Atlanta has chosen 2 WRs that can play in this league without spending a true premium pick to do so.
