Play them when Self isn’t coaching?

Play them without having a bench. This team's Achilles heel is when any of their bench players have to actually play meaningful minutes, which is the same problem as last year when Arkansas knocked them out in a hacking foulfest with our best players getting in foul trouble.

Hmmm.... maybe. But I think we would have beaten Arkansas last tourney if Self would have been coaching.

Also had Jalen Wilson who was our best player last season by a decent margin as well as an additional NBA lottery pick in Gradey Dick.

We'll never know, but nothing Self would have done would have changed the way that game was played (a hacking foulfest by Arkansas' design).

17 points for Kansas freshman Johnny Furphy in a win over Houston, the No. 1 defense in college basketball, continuing his absolutely scorching past few weeks. Now 16/29 for 3 over the last 6 games, with a bunch of great plays in transition mixed in. pic.twitter.com/4FrFTutaRc

And there it goes. We've probably got another month or so of him left.

Win the ship, reload and don't we get some school's back soon to add depth to these uber talented teams?

Best game he's had defensively too.

Beat UH in Houston and then it's on. They play just as well at home as KU does. That one will be intense.

It's a lot easier for them to get away with their hacking and bullying teams at home, yes.

Maybe Baylor shouldn't choke 20 point leads at home.
