On Tuesday, the Cape Cod Times reported that Linda Zuern, a former member of the Bourne, Massachusetts Board of Selectmen and a Trump-supporting figure in the local Republican Party, had died of COVID-19.
Zuern died at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston of severe complications caused by COVID-19, according to the report. She was 70 years old and had not been vaccinated.
"She was a strong woman who believed in speaking the truth and defending our freedoms in America," Republican State Committeewoman Deborah Dugan told the Cape Cod Times. Dugan was at Zuern's bedside when she died. "I would describe her to people as a little woman but a mighty warrior."
For months, Zuern, a member of the pro-Trump group the United Cape Patriots, had promoted conspiracy theories about the pandemic on Facebook. She has shared articles accusing the World Health Organization of a coverup of the "Wuhan Virus" and claiming COVID-19 is cover for "globalists" to usher in "U.N. Agenda 2030" — a sustainable development initiative right-wing conspiracy theorists assert is a plot to create a one world government.
Zuern also expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory, posting their creed of "WWG1WGA" (Where We Go One, We Go All).
Zuern promoted the use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment of COVID-19 during a Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates meeting in December and questioned whether officials "had looked into preventative measures that people could use besides a vaccine to help build up their immune system," the Cape Cod Times reported.
Peter Meier, chair of the Board of Selectmen, said Zuern cared deeply about others. "She definitely left her mark on the community," he added.
According to the report, Zuern and her mother contracted COVID-19 while returning home from a trip to South Dakota — a state where Republican-motivated policies have let the virus propagate with little control.

The real evil is the dishonesty about Covid from politicians and media. If it's really serious, then we should've secured the border instead of attacking our own people. They should've been telling us about vitamin D from the beginning. This is the type of crap that just confuses people and makes them think it's purely political.

I think much of it is originating from Q circles. It can’t travel under the Q moniker these days, but it’s largely the same people, the same groups, the same websites and “sources”.
As of August 23, 2021, more than 171 million people in the United States had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the same time, CDC received reports from 49 U.S. states and territories of 11,050 patients with COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough infection who were hospitalized or died.

I was more trying to point out to Mizzou friendly like that he has no way to prove this guy would still be here 'guaranteed' . Unless, of course, he knows something I don't know. In which case, I'm all ears. I will always take a sure bet with a 100% guarantee :-)

I'm not denying there was a side affect or two from my infection. I can now bench press 825lbs. and my Johnson has to be doubled over to keep it from dragging the floor.

TBH I've posted some of these on my social media because I'm hoping it will change some people's minds about getting vaccinated. Some people do not have the literacy or critical thinking skills to sort through the anti-vax propaganda, but that fact should mean they should be condemned to death because of it. So, I'm hoping that they read about these experiences from people much like them (posting the same memes etc before they die from covid and the awful experience they have) they will be swayed to getting vaxxed. I just don't want people to die or suffer needlessly.

I know. It's just fear porn and we all need to buy in. I get it.
But the truth is, IF they could prove this experimental drug superior to my immune system AND 100% safe, I would be game. If for no other reason than to slow the squirting of estrogen coming from the forced vaxxers.
Then they could get past this and cry about whatever the TV told them to next. At least it might be something different :-)
