In contemporary America, the public is being overwhelmingly influenced by a substantial portion of the populace, who could be described by the political idiom “woke.”

Also called Critical Race Theory (CRT), Cancel Culture, and other terms, “woke” is used by many who consider themselves to be awakened to the supposed reality that America is a racist country, and the root of the problem is people who are of Caucasian descent. A concept that originally emerged in early 20th century Europe, the “woke” movement seeks to divide people groups, and it largely surfaced in the Communist movement that found a voice in the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in 1917.

The subsequent backlash to the Soviet manifestation of the globalist oriented Marxist movement which desired to install a Communist government in Germany in the 1930’s, was the rise of the nationalism of the Nazi Party. Obviously, many millions of people died because of the clash of political views which came to the forefront in World War II.

Ironically, most of the populace that considers themselves to be “woke” are anything but, as the Socialist/Communist theorists that spread this intellectual witchcraft have been exposed as liars and deceivers, preying on an unsophisticated citizenry for a largely hidden agenda. The very nature of the political mindset is steeped in deception, subterfuge, and destructive practices.

Christians already know that the nature of sin is, at its most basic level, a deceptive power that erroneously convinces those it occupies that they are on the right track. However, believers don’t always recognize the encroachment of an evil impulse until it is already upon them. This is where the concept of the scalability of spiritual discernment is important.

“The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (I Corinthians 2:14).

Because of a lack of personal study in the Scriptures, many believers have bought the lie that all they must do is accept Christ, and no effort is required on their part. They’ve missed the crucial truth that God expects them to progress, and grow.

“For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26).

At the same time, the idea that man must make an effort was appropriated by the Socialists, who sought to engender an attitude of responsibility to the world, but without the requisite presence of God.

Most of this can be traced back to the writings of Karl Marx, who had a clear axe to grind with Christianity. What has come to be broadly referred to as Marxism is, in effect, the belief that there is no God, and mankind must rely upon his own devices to create a just social order. Marx, for example, malevolently saw that the resilient power of faith in God, as manifested historically, was related to the classic family structure with a father, mother, and offspring.

Thus, in order to achieve his goal of destroying religion – which he called the “opiate of the masses” -- he set out to destroy the family unit in order to bring about the goals of the utopian system he envisioned.

“Once the earthly family is discovered to be the secret of the holy family, the former must itself be annihilated theoretically and practically” (Karl Marx, Theses on Feuerbach #4).

I do. But when I picture Michael the Archangel, I see him in the form of Bill Pullman with wings. In first grade, we had a giant picture of that angel and he was fair headed and beautiful.

I understand your point but know that Angels are very different than anyone here and not all are good. Best leave angels to where they tread and know they were made above man and can easily deceive any of us. Get those horse blinders on and look forward. :-)

Lucifer and his crew weren't good. But Michael the Archangel was. At least that's how I was taught.

It goes beyond Marx and his philosophy to something deeper. It's the religion of the elites where they reject logos and nature. So in order to become "God's" themselves, they seek to deconstruct and invert God's creation. These people believe it's their spiritual destiny to enslave the rest of us into their vision of utopia. Quite literally a hell on earth scenario.

The way progressives continue to move the ball is to go so FAR left, that when they pull back 1/2 way, the far right thinks they accomplished something. In reality, they have moved things they way they wanted towards their goal of total government control.

You have to be a little older to see it, but it's quite obvious we move further left at an alarming rate.
