Truth is nobody really knows. Rocker could flame out and be the next Kyle Davies, and Frank Mozzarella could win the Cy Young. Or Vice Versa. Nobody really knows dick at this point. The drafts, ESPECIALLY the MLB & NFL Draft heavily reliant on luck. It's not all luck, obviously, but alot of it is.

The issue, reply guys, is that this forum has actually been talking about the draft for months (so no, it’s not like we have a sudden interest in it), listed numerous players we’d love at that pick, and universally agreed about the trouble GMDM has had developing high school pitchers. This is also the same forum that hated the Christian Colon pick, and thought Bubba was a major reach due to his proximity to KC.

What am I missing here, dudes? Is there a reason why this pick shouldn’t have a healthy degree of skepticism?

Royals supply first big surprise of MLB Draft with pick of Mozzicato

I am flabbergasted. I like Mozzicato quite a bit. I saw him pitch in May, not his best stuff, but a plus curveball, projection, feel, good command, athleticism ... but he was 86-90, and we do not have the history with him that we have with so many other guys in the class. He's touched 94 but doesn't sit there. Mozzicato is a prospect, a good one, but considering who else is on the board right now ... this has to be some kind of money-saving move, as with the Orioles and Cowser, because Mozzicato was maybe a fringe first rounder if you line him up against everyone else in the class.

Fucking idiots acting like DM drafting a 2nd round talent in the top 8 when there were several top end talents available is fine because "the draft is a crapshoot".

Like you mother fuckers aren't bitching about the Chiefs draft picks and you all sure is shit ain't watching film on all the NFL draft prospects.

DM just took a guy with our 8th overall pick that more than likely won't be in our top 10 prospects list and probably won't even make it to the big leagues.
