Fish, do you only eat at Panda Express?

I agree. All the components are separate everywhere I've been (most of which you can watch them prepare your dish). They have a pile of rice, a pile of onions, piles of assorted veg, etc. You want rice with no green onion? No problem. No peas? No problem.

If they didn't do it that way and offered you the ability to customize, they'd be liable for contamination should someone have an allergy.

Hell, I've been to places that if you tell them you have a peanut allergy, they'll wash all the surfaces, wash the wok, and use a non peanut oil.

I've seen it both ways, some have everything segregated. But a lot have a bowl of assorted veggies, even if meats, sauces and rice are segregated.

Peanut allergies and vegan options are one thing. People asking for no [celery, carrot, peas, onion] ONLY is often different.

When I'm on the road I have to order no veggies at all sometimes.

Which makes sense after reading your post

I had no idea peas would cause such an uproar? I guess I'm the same with spinach, canned I can not do. I have cooked manicotti with fresh but I still found it less than pleasant.

I have some fresh kielbasa, a chicken brinerating in soy sauce and bourbon and some aromatics, and turkey legs marinating in seasoning rub and Worcestershire sauce for the smoker today.

No, a totinos is not better. Whoever has led you to believe that sillyness is sending you down the wrong path.

Little Caesar's is utter shit, man. I don't like Domino's, but if that's all there is at a party, I'll eat it. LC? I'll grab a burger on the way home.

I'm gonna try a couple of new things in the next few days.

1) A half assed attempt at a pizza. Boboli brand crust, some Alfredo sauce, garlic, bacon, and roasted chicken.

2) A hybrid meatloaf/chicken taco thing. Ground chicken mixed with salsa and taco seasonings covered in cheese and baked like a meatloaf.
