wait, so that wasn’t fake news? China is giving us masks and test kits? What happened to ours that was going to be available this weekend? Are these them?

Our healthcare workers are now being asked to take their temperatures before they leave for work and after they get home from work. If they run anything 100 or greater they have to get tested before they can come back.

Needs to be that way across the board.

Some recent stats in our country

ACTIVE CASES
3,640
Currently Infected Patients
3,630 (100%)
in Mild Condition

10 (0%)
Serious or Critical

That should be encouraging. Out of the 3,640 active cases only 10 are serious\critical. That's .02%.

People are going to get this thing and get sick but it's nice to see numbers that show that almost all the people getting it are mild condition.

Hopefully the masks and test kits aren't laced with virus.

Depending on the age demographics of the hot spots yes... With a two week time lag

That data was discussed earlier in the thread. It does not appear to be reliable.

This is good, but are the workers required to wear a mask when interacting with patients? All the screening in the world isn't going to help since there have been a huge number of people that were infected, showed no symptoms, but still passed this around.

Those workers could still have the virus and not have a fever and unknowingly spread it to the patients. The masks would greatly help in reducing that risk.

I wonder how many deaths have been attributed to something else when it was the coronavirus?
