Cause Toub tells them to try to make a play no matter how stupid it is. It's been this way for years. Guys taking the ball out of the endzones and not making it back to the 25. Guys fielding punts inside the 10 and even the 5 yard line. We just over look it because as long as they didn't fumble the ball away, Mahomes usually still got us down the field for the score.
Toub still acts like the ST NEEDS to make aggressive plays in order for us to win instead of telling players to take touchbacks or not trying to catch the ball inside the 5.
