Gomer Pyle was a spinoff of the Andy Griffith Show. [Reply]

Gomer Pyle was also derived from an Andy Griffith movie in the 1950s called No Time For Sergeants, where Andy played the Gomer role. It's an interesting triangle, because Andy was basically Gomer first, and then Gomer was created from a civilian character working with Andy. [Reply]
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (worst people ever...hilarious!)
Parks & Recreation (Ron Swanson is my spirit animal)
30 Rock (Alec Baldwin is great in this series) [Reply]

I would say it qualifies based on the definition.
Yeah by definition that's correct but it still feels wrong classing a genius show like Community with formulaic shows ike 'Caroline in the City' or 2 Guys and a Girl and a Pizza Place.. or Seinfeld for that matter.
So Community and Seinfeld are in classes of their own, but Frasier is GOAT among the typical multicam sitcom genre. [Reply]
