Another thing that really bugs me is that Dayton had his thumb up his ass in regards to trading Carlos Santana. The Royals will play him next year even if he has a sub .650 OPS and he just jams everything up for Pratto and Melendez. [Reply]
We don't talk enough about how fortunate we are that A.J. Preller won a bidding war over Dayton Moore for Eric Hosmer.
Hosmer has a combined 2.6 bWAR in his entire Padres career, while earning $21 million a season. And the Royals used their compensation pick on...Daniel Lynch.
