A couple of reminders...

We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Zero shots, zero boosters, zero cases of Covid. Out of the country 6 times in that span. Smoking with strangers, in close proximity to lots of people while drinking etc.

I regret getting the shot.

Johnson and Johnson. Had new chest pains, still has faint pain when I breathe in fully to this day.

Had a checkup with blood work and I’m fine. The enlarged heart stuff is concerning.

Just a quick update for those interested -

Pete and Donger are still 1-2 in number of posts in this thread in spite of being banned from it for nearly a year and a half. Pete has just shy of 5K posts and Donger has just north of 3.5K posts. And a total of 38 posters have been banned from this thread. Kind of amazing, really.

It's a truly astounding level of effort that they both put into arguing a point that they knew the other one would never be convinced about.

Regarding the question, my answer is no. But I'm a good little boy who mostly just does what my doctor recommends, so :-).

I feel this thread would make an amazing case study.

Sounds like DC. That's all that goes down in that place. People arguing about things that no one will ever change their opinion on.

This is how I feel. My parents have gotten it once and twice for mom and are high risk and have made it through just fine with mild symptoms after getting it and being vaccinated and both were behind one booster at the time.

I don't think I've ever had Covid, by the way. I've had a few instances where I wondered, like probably most of us. If I had it I survived it.
I got it the first time and only time around Christmas and I felt chills for a day or so and had metallic taste for about a week. I'll take that everytime. It was just an inconvenience not being near my wife and kid who knock on wood have avoided it so far but are all caught up on shots. I had strep in October and that was worse for me.
