It's guess better than the original Ryan Reynolds casting. I never realized that one of the worst parts of getting older was rewatching shit I've already seen... but with new actors. [Reply]
Hopefully they use some narratives that were on the TV show like "The Watchers"
I never did watch that show (movie sequels annoyed me and I dropped the franchise) but maybe I should just for the feels. I am related to the actual clan MacLeod by blood and actual Campbells by marriage. [Reply]

The series was badass, you had to pay attention to air dates since the show was syndicated thus it changed timeslots like the wind since it was before DVR in the 90's [Reply]

I mean, I don't have any problem with his casting, or really any of the casting in the original. But even back in 1987, I knew it was weird that a Scottish born and raised man would have a French English accent.

true, and that wasn't his most severe handicap. Lambert was and is legally blind. also Connery refused to dedicate much time to sword training. the sword play scenes with those two could have ended badly.
the new highlander movie better have Queen in it. that was the whole point of the movie, originally. The director, Russel Mulcahey, made his bones directing music videos
the whole movie was shot like a music video. that's why it contains MTV tropes like random wind blasts, explosions, and lightning strikes [Reply]
