WB can’t be happy with this? (But subscriptions are up!) Like Dane mentioned, I’m sure piracy plays a big part here.

2nd wknd drops have been big for many of the top movies WB has released day and date in cinemas + HBO Max.

HBO Max has gone from 12 million activations in December 2020 to about 68 million as of today, so their plan is working.

Before these latest restrictions in LA County, the movie business was looking at 2024 before fully recovering.

Now, I have no idea when it will recover because I don't think these restrictions are going to end any time soon.
